BT is one of the largest telecom organizations in the world, providing telephony, broadband and subscription television services to 18 million customers in the UK and across the globe. In 2013, BT began a companywide program to help their team leaders become more engaging and pass information on to their employees.
Quickly realizing that, due to the extensive nature of their organization, in-person seminars were neither cost-effective, nor reaching the breadth of audience that BT wanted to reach, they turned to Qumu. Within three months, BT management was reaching team leaders in every segment of their organization with video. Where once they would reach 50 or 60 of the people they wanted to reach with an in-person session, they are now reaching more than 500 managers each month who are encouraged to share the videos with their teams to keep everyone on track and up to date with the latest and greatest from BT.
