All videos, corresponding collateral and images are managed by a comprehensive asset management system and easily searched and re-purposed.
Comprehensive Scalable Distribution
In order to scale VOD distribution across international audiences in locations with varying bandwidth, Qumu integrates with Content Distribution Networks (CDNs). The integration provides easy to use screens for content publishers to select what locations to push content to and when to perform the distribution. The video assets are then “pushed” across the network at a pre-determined time to pre-position the video programs at the edge of the network closest to the viewers. This ensures the viewer will be able to access the video locally without having to wait for it to download from the main server which could be many thousands of miles away. Qumu integrates with enterprise CDN technologies such as Cisco ACNS, Network Appliance NetCache, BlueCoat and Stratacache, as well as internet CDN technologies such as Akamai and AT&T ICDS. Qumu also provides advanced syndication capabilities that allows VOD content to be distributed to multiple CDN networks simultaneously.

Qumu provides comprehensive reporting for video-on-demand, including program popularity, channel and category breakdowns, and viewing details by individual user.
