A Seamless Conferencing Solution for Enterprise Video Communications
Polycom’s standard conferencing solution (a videoconference capture device and a streaming encoder / RSS 2000 recorder) allows real time conference streaming using Windows Media and some limited recording functionality for future conference playback. This structure however, does not have robust content management features, nor does it provide scalable streaming of content. Qumu’s Polycom TIM is a module that tightly integrates with RSS2000 and adds to it the management and distribution power of the Qumu platform.
