Extend Video Conferencing With Polycom and Qumu

Qumu allows customers to extend the reach of traditional video conferencing by streaming the output over IP networks to the desktop. Additionally, Qumu provides automated archiving of conference sessions and automated publishing of the archives as video on-demand programs. End users then browse a portal interface and watch archived programs at their convenience.

The Qumu Video Control Center and Polycom video conferencing products provide customers with a highly scalable seamless integrated solution that brings together multiple video sources and supports a multitude of distribution options for the enterprise, as pictured in the diagram below.

Polycom also licenses a custom version of Qumu technology through the Qumu OEM program, which enables independent software vendors and device manufacturers to quickly bring to market tightly integrated, private-labeled applications from Qumu.
