Qumu Names Charles Lucci
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Appointment of Former EMC Executive Will Further Propel Success
EMERYVILLE, CALIF. — May 24, 2007 — Qumu, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Video Communications (EVC), today named Charles Lucci vice president of worldwide sales. He reports to Rod Bacon, CEO of Media Publisher.
Lucci brings more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, dedicating several years to the enterprise storage software market. Since 2003, he was vice president of worldwide operations, at EMC’s open storage software division, following EMC’s acquisition of Legato Systems, where he led the group through nine consecutive record quarters. While at Legato, Chuck held a number of sales management positions, including general manager of EMEA and worldwide vice president of field operations. Chuck initiated and managed the company’s European activities, growing the business from under $1 million to $135 million in annual revenue. Prior to Legato, Lucci held OEM, channel, business development, sales, and general management roles for Vortex Systems, Inc., Advanced Micro Technologies, and MicroAge Computer.
