Qumu, Inc. Adds Mohanjit Jolly And John Parsons To Board Of Directors

Board Expands Following Close of $1.3M Series A Funding Round



Berkeley, CA (August 12, 2003) - Media Publisher, Inc., (MPI) a provider of enterprise software for rich-media publishing automation and management, announced today that in conjunction with closing its $1.3 million Series A round of funding on July 29, 2003 (see related news release), Mohanjit Jolly of Garage Technology Ventures and John Parsons of The Angels' Forum and The Halo Fund have been elected to MPI's Board of Directors.

Mr. Jolly has served as the Security, Storage, and Infrastructure Sector Leader at Garage Technology Ventures since 1999. While at Garage, Mohanjit has worked with over 20 companies, including LeftHand Networks, Mockingbird Networks, Consystant, and Xora. Prior to joining Garage, Mohanjit was part of the technology and business development group at Mattel, where he helped launch the Mattel/Intel joint venture, Intel Play. While earning his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, Jolly helped found ViaSpace, a technology incubator in Southern California in conjunction with Caltech and Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Mohanjit earned a BS and MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, with a specialization in electric propulsion systems.

Mr. Parsons of The Angels' Forum and The Halo Fund has more than fifteen years experience in founding, evaluating, financing, working in, advising and investing in seed and early stage startup companies, including iTendant, Olliance, GreatCoffee.com, Altair Technologies, Elk Creek, EDT Learning, Hydrotreat and White Knight Packaging. John was also a senior consultant at Ernst & Young, and a project engineer at General Electric responsible for developing and leading the new research and development business unit. John holds a BS degree in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Virginia.
